Mary Joyce Howard, 69, passed away Sunday September 3, 2023 at U.L. Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born May 20, 1954 in Louisville to the late, Paul and Pearl Hendren Howard.

She was self employed. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

She was also preceded in death by, four brothers, John Young, Jerry “Pete”, Julian and Jeff Howard, one sister, Joan Howard Smith.

Joyce is survived by, one son, Michael D. (Natalie) Hayden of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, her companion, Donnie Burkhead of Bardstown, three grandchildren, Colton, Dawson, and Eelynn Hayden, two brothers, Paul(Margie) Howard of Lebaon, Joe (Laura) Howard of Louisville, three sisters, Jean Downs, of Bardstown, Janice Vittitow of New Haven, and Jane (Jimmy) Cross of Bardstown, three sister-in-laws, Betty Jo Howard, Pam Howard, and Jean Howard, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Mass Saturday September 16, 2023 at St. Catherine Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Matthew Hardesty officiating. Burial to follow in the St. Catherine Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday September 16, 2023 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Church.
