Maxie Perkinas, 84, of Hodgenville passed away Wednesday April 5, 2023 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
Maxie was born May 18, 1938 in Larue County to the late James Everett and Alva Mae Sprowles Perkins.
Maxie was a Baptist by faith, he was a farmer loved working with his hands, he was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.
In addition to his parents, Maxie was preceded in death by six brothers, Ray, Junior, Paul, Claude, Doyt, and Roger Perkins.
Maxie is survived by, his sister, Glenda (Paul) Wathen, two sister-in-laws, Phyllis and Arlene Perkins, two special friends, Ron Benningfield, and Junior Bowen, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Maxie Perkins will be held Saturday April 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with Brother Danny Nelson officiating, burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery.
Visitation for Maxie Perkins will be Friday April 7, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 at the funeral home.
